We spent 3 days at Silverstone soaking up the atmosphere getting to see the F2 qualifying and other lower category racing, seeing the up and coming F1 stars of the future… seeing older classic F1 cars and seeing the development of the the sport to the modern era.
To top Sunday afternoon racing we also saw the Red Arrows. This year was 70 years at Silverstone and my son and I are already booking for Perfect weather, good views of the track and cars, viewing areas are laid out well with lots of toilets, food stalls, bars and water points around the track.
Used the m40 Park and Ride to get to Silverstone and very impressed with the efficiency and number of buses. Looking forward to going again in the future!
The facilities at the track were great, although much of it was temporarily erected for the GP weekend.
The seating in the stands was excellent and the food stands and toilet facilities surprisingly good. Main stage with popular music artists, entertainment area with child friendly rides, fan area with simulators, popular road cars you can get in and old racing cars on display.
Lots of food and drinks at every corner. Sat in National Straights grandstand, walked on track after the race and took pictures of Hamilton at the pit lane.

Virgin Trains are running a dedicated service for Rolex British Grand Prix goers on Sunday 14 July from various locations to Milton Keynes and Banbury, you will then get a coach transfer included in the train ticket price to Silverstone.

Silverstone has made significant investment in a traffic management system for this weekend. However, as with all large events there may be some delays in exiting car parks at peaks times.
We usually start sending tickets out a couple of months before the event but can send tickets out up to 1 week before the event.
Tickets are sent out in the order they were purchased, so fans who booked their tickets at the previous event will get their tickets first and so on.

Public car parks will be closed overnight. There are a number of disabled parking areas available please call for more information and to book. Weekend camping is available, for holders of three day tickets and four day tickets only, adjacent to and within m of Club Corner at the South of the circuit.
A mix of permanent and temporary facilities providing toilets, showers and shop provisions are available. Camping tickets can be added as an extra when booking your weekend tickets, in step two of the booking process.
